There is a reason why human beings were given two ears and one mouth; to listen twice as much as we speak. However in this case (OK, and Heidi Montag’s too) my ears are thinking this is such an unfair balance. The only solution to this unequal equation is scramble for the nearest set of earmuffs to drown out what I am sure will put “banshee shreiks” to shame. Paris Hilton is not only “seriously” pursuing a career in the music biz but she is currently recording a duet with boyfriend and Good Charlotte bandmate, Benji Madden. Yikes, my ‘drums are wincing already.

When not slaving behind her pink Swarovski crystal-embedded microphone, gruely working her burdened fingers to the bone in the comforts of her own home-recording studio, Princess Paris clicks those manicured fingertips away on her keyboard, blogging about how much she hearts her bf…and how she writes songs and stuff. Hollyscoop reports:

“Paris had recently blogged about working on a new album, but we wanted to know if her rocker beau Benji Madden would be making a cameo in it.
Paris said, “Well, actually I have a studio at the house. He [Benji] actually helped me write some of the songs for my new album, and for the BFF show. He’s a really amazing talent, songwriter and singer."
So will there be a duet? Paris said, "Yes, definitely. When the show comes out.”

How un-interesting. What could those two possibly have to sing about? “The Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous?” If I recall correctly I do believe those lyrics by, (Oh, imagine that…Good Charlotte of all things,) addressed the fact that celebrities are “always complaining.” Hmm…singin’ a different tune are we Benji? Must be, because I would be willing to bet that the sharper-than-a-bowling-ball- bimbo crossed their minds once or twice as prime example while jotting down those song lyrics.

Well now their fingernails will scrape chalkboard together in perfect harmony. That’s hot.
