This wetland preserve is a treasure-trove of Southwest Florida birds including bald eagles, red-shouldered hawks, limpkins and other great wading birds. You may even spot the endangered
snail kite. Such a diverse group of bird species are rarely seen in one spot. Bring your cameras or use a spotting scope. Don’t forget your picnic lunch!
