The Marco Island Parks and Recreation Department offers "Be Fit Over Fifty" each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Mackle Park.
A cardio-strengthening program takes place from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. The class includes a stretching warm-up; 20 minutes of low-impact, easy-to-follow aerobic movement; and a stretching cool-down.
Susan Branco, a member of the National Council of Aging, the National Osteoporosis Foundation and the American Senior Fitness Association, is the instructor for both classes.
