Here is a list of upcoming events. It's extensive and we're sure you'll find something you like.

* Nov. 9 -- Get an up close view and an education on the scaly serpents at the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens. Zookeepers share insights into the nightmare-inducing creatures daily at 2:30 p.m.

* Nov. 11 -- The Florida Everblades open up a three game home stand against the Toledo Walleye. And you thought all the great sports team names were already taken.

* Nov. 13 -- See the Naples Players Production of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” which plays from Oct. 28 through Nov. 21.

* Nov. 14 -- The Naples Museum of Arts is starting its 10th season with a new curator, Michael Culver. Meet him for coffee at the monthly “Coffee with the Curator” session.

* Nov. 17 -- Comedian Mike Epps might be best known as Ice Cube’s cousin Day-Day in “Next Friday,” but his real gift is on stage doing stand-up. Catch him in his natural environment from Nov. 17-19

* Nov. 18 The music of Led Zeppelin was a catalyst for the hard rock genre. Hear their music in a new way when the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, with the help of Robert Plant sound-alike Randy Jackson, take on note-for-note recreations of the band’s hits.

* Nov. 20 -- It might be the most anticipated movie of the year. When “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” opens in theaters expect legions of teenage girls, and their moms to flock to local megaplexes, some of which have already sold out shows.

* Nov. 24 Palm Cottage, Naples oldest home, gets gussied up for Christmas. Check out the interior decorations during the day and the lights at night.

* Nov. 26 This year for Thanksgiving try putting a spin on the classics. Butcher your turkey and braise it in wine and stock. Or add some celery root to your mashed potatoes.

* Nov. 27 Roger Daltrey has one of the most recognizable voices in rock ‘n’ roll. Hear the Who frontman at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall

* Nov. 28 Christmas season officially kicks off as ‘The Nutcracker’ returns for its annual two-day residency at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts.

* Dec. 1 Although they seem tame by today’s standards, there was a time when the Smothers Brothers were as subversive and controversial as Lenny Bruce or Richard Pryor. The duo brings their half-century of comedy knowledge to the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts.

* Dec. 2 Cue the sounds of screaming teenage girls. Pop starlet and teen icon Miley Cyrus concludes her North American tour with a stop at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.

* Dec. 4 TheaterZone puts on a production of the 5-time Tony winning musical, “Man of La Mancha,” The show, a play-within-a-play based on Cervantes’ classic “Don Quixote,” runs through Dec. 13 at the G&L Theatre at Community School of Naples.

* Dec. 5 The Naples Art Association’s Art in the Park series is now in it’s 53rd year of showcasing the best work from local artists. Browse their creations in Cambier Park in downtown Naples.
