Here is Neapolitan's comprehensive calendar of a best thing to do each of most days in the coming month:
* March 24: Classic plays rule this week. The Naples Players continue their month-long run of “Fiddler on the Roof” at the Sugden Theatre, while the Gulfshore Playhouse begins a three week run of Ibsen’s “A Doll’s House” at the Norris Center.
* March 26: You’ve got a choice of a mulit-platinum selling musician or one of the world’s most famous comedians. TobyMac, formerly a member of DC Talk, plays at Germain Arena in Estero and comedy legend, and the former head of one of America’s favorite families, Bill Cosby brings his stand up show to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers
* March 28: It’s the last day of the Downtown Naples Festival of the Arts. Sponsored by the Naples Art Association, the 22nd annual event closes down Fifth Avenue South to celebrate all forms of visual art
* March 29: Blending hip-hop, salsa, merengue and soul music, “In the Heights” roared onto Broadway as on of the most original sounding musicals the Great White Way had heard in years. After winning a slew of Tonys the show embarked on a nationwide tour last year, which brings it to the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts through April 3
* April 1: Fresh of his gold medal win in Vancouver, figure skater Evan Lysacek comes to Germain Arena as part of “Smucker’s Stars on Ice.” Also scheduled to perform, former selver medalist Sasha Cohen and pairs silver medalists Tanith Bebin and Benjamin Agosto.
* April 3: Scotch-swilling, cigar chomping comedian Ron White isn’t one to play nice. But his misanthropic mindset makes for good laughs. See him at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
* April 6: Catch the last week of performances of “The King and I” at the Broadway Palm dinner theater. The classic Rogers and Hammerstein musical is one of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals, with enduring songs such as “Getting to Know You” and “Hello, Young Lovers”
* April 8: Alan Jackson is a Hall of Famer. He’s released 58 singles, 57 of them were Top 40 hits and 26 hit No. 1. Now he’s got a new studio album and he is kicking off the tour to support it at Germain Arena in Estero
* April 9: The Art League of Bonita Springs is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Old 41 Road campus with an exhibition of the early work of photographer Ansel Adams. The exhibit is open through May 1.

* April 12: You laughed when he was Goat Boy on “Saturday Night Live” and chuckled along as he hosted standup shows on Comedy Central. Now stoner-stand up comic Jim Bruer comes to Marco Island for a two-night stand at Off the Hook Comedy Club.
* April 13: It’s a story of the search for true love dating back at least three centuries. After “Beauty and the Beast” was adapted into an animated musical for Disney, it came to new life as a stage play which comes to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall through April 18.
* April: 16: Twenty-five years ago, a Washington doctor walked around a track for 24 hours to raise money for the American Cancer Society. He raised $27,000. * April 18: Made famous by Jon Favreau in his breakout hit movie “Swingers” Big Bad Voodoo Daddy epitomized the sound and life of the zoot suit-wearing swing kids of the early ’90s with songs such as “Go Daddy-O.” Now branching out into pops, the band plays at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts
