IMMOKALEE — There were beauty queens, marching bands, floats and more as the Immokalee Harvest Festival Parade rolled through the streets of Immokalee Saturday morning.
Immokalee Chamber of Commerce president Fred N. Thomas, Jr., awarded Phil Tall, marketing partner for Texas Roadhouse, the key to the city of Immokalee during the opening statements before the start of parade.
Texas Roadhouse will start a two-million dollar community development project involving 1,200 volunteers in Immokalee on Monday.
Following the parade, there were food, fun and games at the Seminole Casino Immokalee, including the ever-popular funnel cakes from Linda's Sandwiches in Golden Gate.
