AVE MARIA — Small in size but big on character would best describe the West Coast Muscle Car Club show out at Ave Maria.
With only a couple dozen cars on display the theme was mostly American & big engines. Everything from customized, high-end 1920s-era hot rods through classic 1970s cars like the Camaro, 442, Le Mans and Challenger were present.
Throw in a '56 Plymouth with rotted floor boards and buckets for seats along with a one of four 1933 Dodge and there was a little something for everyone.
To add zest, the Dixie Landers who are often seen playing around Naples filled the air with music that had more than a few dancing in the street.
