After nearly five years of restoration and construction the historic Naples Depot museum will be open permanently after January 8th. Their new hours are expected to be Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays form 9am to 4pm. The museum like all Collier County's museums are free.
The restored Seaboard Airlines Railroad Depot, built in 1927, will display exhibits explaining the early history of Naples and how modes of transportation drove the development and established charactor of this area. Volunteers will be needed to help staff the museum and donations are always appreciated.
The Lionell room will continue to exhibit their collection of model trains and operat their garden train ride on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
