FORT MYERS — Hundreds of people flowed through the Daas Gallery in downtown Fort Myers on Friday night for its “Skin 2011” juried exhibition.
The event was part of the monthly downtown “Art Walk.” More than 30 artists from around Southwest Florida displayed works ranging from mixed media and photography to sculptures and paintings.
Co-owner David Acevedo says the show’s goal is to get artists to “break outside their boundaries and be open and honest with their work. It will remain on display until the end of July.
