NAPLES — Fred's Diner, Camp Bow Wow and Top Dog Kitchen held another successful fundraiser to benefit both DAS (Domestic Animal Services) and the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation.
The Patriotic Pooch Fundraiser was marked by the unusual location - Fred's Food, Fun and Spirits, a pet friendly eatery known for great food & live music - and for the usual variety of pet lovers.
There is an "ongoing fundraising effort at all times" noted Diane Shumate of Camp Bow Wow. "We're looking forward to what should be a huge benefit on June 4th at Fifth Third Bank. We help save dogs, educate the public, advocate for animal welfare and send a student to Vet school."
All in all a great night out, a fine location and a few more funds to help man's best friend.
Camp Bow Wow's "Bow Wow Luau," a benefit dog and car wash, will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m at the Fifth Third Bank location at 5101 East Tamiami Trail in Naples on June 4.
