If you judged Southwest Florida by the number of volunteer hours conducted by its citizens, the area would shine in the eyes of the world. Southwest Florida is home to thousands of people who are involved in the philanthropic world. Throughout the year, there are hundreds of galas, golf outings and other fundraising events held in addition to the many hours of everyday work done at area non-profits. The number of hours, like the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, can not be counted.
Many non-profit volunteers and employees in the area are well known, but we wanted to talk to a few fresh faces. We sit down with some of those new individuals to find out what drives their passion for philanthropy.
