Three people to watch in March

Susan Liberski

Co-Chair of ZOObilee 2012

For Susan Liberski, working on the board of the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a labor of love. The Naples doctor grew up in a small town in the Midwest and a visit to the zoo would transport the little girl to African savannas, arctic ice caps and the jungles of South America. For three years, Liberski has worked on the major fundraiser for the Zoo, ZOObilee. This year she is working as the co-chair for the event which will be held on March 10 at the Naples Zoo.

“The zoo is a gem that we have here in Collier County, most cities our size don’t have such a collection of animals,” Liberski said. “Not everyone can go to Africa or Asia, but here you get a glimpse of what we have around the world.”

ZOObilee will return to the Naples Zoo this year, after being held at various hotels during the past few years. Guests will go on a culinary safari around the world and then be entertained by some very special guests. Instead of a speaker this year, there will be a live animal show with visiting animals that are not normally found at the Naples Zoo.

This marks the third year that White House Black Market has donated $10,000 to Dress for Success. Colaco has more than 25 years of experience in women’s specialty apparel. Prior to joining the Company, Colaco worked for Ann Taylor Corporation for more than 10 years in numerous capacities including, most recently serving as President of Ann Taylor LOFT. Shelia S. Davis

Chairwoman of the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples Dream Gala

Shelia S. Davis is the chairwoman of the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples Inaugural Dream Gala on Friday, March 23. The Dream Gala will truly be a night to remember, complete with a unique, first-time opportunity for gala guests to explore the inside of the new museum. The evening is “blue tie,” with attendees encouraged to add a festive touch of C’mon’s signature blue to their attire.

“The Southwest Florida community has shown tremendous support for the museum, and it’s so gratifying to be able to warmly welcome them to this celebration in the wonderful place where our children and their families will play, learn and dream together.” Davis said.
