ESTERO — The inaugural Stars and Stripes Bike Night at Coconut Point in Estero kicked off without a glitch despite the inclement weather, Friday July 6, 2012.
Motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts gathered around Hemingway’s Island Grill to view dozens of some of the finest motorcycles in SW Florida.
“The weather never seems to put riders down, they will come out to support the community and help promote safety no matter what” stated Tom Echlart of Cape Coral.
ABATE of Florida, Inc. Estero River Journal showed great support with over a dozen members to help educate the general public and promote motorcycling in a safe and positive image.
Forth of July weekend festivities continue Saturday July 7, kicking off the day at 9:00 am, there will be a bike decorating contest and bike parade, followed by activities such as live music throughout the day, arts, crafts, wing eating contest and many others.
