NAPLES — Friday's Zonta fundraiser at the Strand Country Club was both charitable and quite fashionable. With designer purses on hand as raffle prizes,a great lunch and Lois Thome of Wink TV on hand to MC, the event got off to a good start.
In keeping in line with their mission of professional women helping other women and girls, Zonta held a "fashion show" where girls who benefit from the organization's efforts donned designer clothing and strolled the runway to the applause of the crowd.
Teenage Parenting Program along with Pace Center For Girls of Immokolee/Collier were on hand to say "thank you" and to further community recognition for their efforts to help young women in need to become safe, productive citizens.
