An Evening of Sit Down with Robin Williams pairs the legendary comedian with guest David Steinberg on Jan. 29 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers.
The show stemmed from an interview, which turned into more interviews, on Steinberg's Showtime program “Inside Comedy.”
“We connected and had fun, and then had offers to get onstage and extend what we did,” the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” director said in an interview with the New York Post about the pair's planned North American tour. The two chat about topics that include comedy, Williams’ life and Hollywood in general.
A spokeswoman for the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall said ticket prices and exact time could not be announced until the news release is approved by the show's agency, but expected them to be approved Thursday, at which time they would be on the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall website.
The Barbara B. Mann Hall is at 13350 Edison Parkway, Fort Myers.
