Join in on a holiday favorite, The Village on Venetian Bay Boat Parade on Thursday, December 6th starting at 6:30 p.m. This annual tradition creates a fantasy light show on the Venetian Bay waters as a procession of decked-out boats makes its way down the channel.
The decorated boats will be judged for first, second and third place prizes, which can be for individual participation or for your favorite Collier County charity. Winning boat captains will receive gift cards for the Venetian Village in the individual category; $750 card for first place, $500 card for second place and $250 card for third place.
Captains who enter on behalf of a charitable organization will receive $1,000 for the winning entry, $750 for second place and $250 for third place payable to their charity of choice.
All captains will receive a gift bag filled with goodies, and there is no entry fee for this event. Dock your boat overnight if you choose by calling Kristin Cartwright at 239.403.2218.
