Pelican Sound raises $20K for American Heart Heroes

The American Heart Association, Southwest Florida Division, announced the results of Pelican Sound’s “Pelican Sound Has A Heart” fundraising campaign.

Through a variety of community fundraising events, including team participation in the 2012 Lee County Heart Walk, Pelican Sound raised $20,012. The American Heart Heroes program offers opportunities for members to enjoy activities designed to build friendships, support and spirit. Additionally, children and their families are able to access resource provided by the American Heart Association designed to help them navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes of living with congenital heart defects.
