A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist who set fire Tuesday morning to Nana’s Diner.

A spokesman for the Florida Division of State Fire Marshal said investigators have concluded the fire was intentionally set, destroying the popular Golden Gate restaurant, located at 12285 Collier Blvd., before dawn Tuesday. The division and investigators with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office are working the case together.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention at 1-877-NO-ARSON, or 1-877-662-7766.

The restaurant’s owner, Teonta Tems, said Tuesday she has insurance on the building and plans to reopen the diner in the future.
