The Naples Craft Beer Fest, the North Naples Rotary’s good-tasting fundraiser, returns this year to Bayfront on Saturday, March 2.
The fest, which offers dozens of beers from small and select breweries, pairs beer tastings and food, prepared by local chefs competing to win the fest’s People’s Choice Award. Thirteen restaurants or caterers are participating, from Chef Paul’s Paella to the Turtle Club on Vanderbilt Beach. Other restaurants include South Street City Oven, the Pub, Agave Southwestern Grill, the Tavern on the Bay, Boston Beer Garden, Taps, Trail Cafe & Grill, Olde Naples Chocolate, Whole Foods, Vicente of London and Beef O’Brady’s.
Beer connoisseurs will find these new brews at the fest this year:
Goose Island, Sweetwater, Green Flash, Stevens Point, Pensacola Bay Brewing, Tennants and Kona. They join dozens of others for sampling, with a Brewer’s Choice award the prize for the beer that brewer representatives among the attendees choose as best.
The music headliner this year is Sarah Hadeka, a favorite at local music spots whose musical influences include Tori Amos, Ben Folds and The Cure.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.naplescraftbeerfest.com or the day of the festival. Smart festival goers will bring a designated driver, whose ticket will allow them food privileges only.
All proceeds go to charities supported by North Naples Rotary.
