Southwest Florida restaurants gearing up for Super Bowl fun

Super Bowl XLVII featuring the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers will be televised beginning 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, with the kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.

The following are some local places to get catering for your Super Bowl party:

Game catering

Artichoke and Co. in North Naples. Choices include hors d'oeuvres, shrimp cocktail, beef tenderloin sandwiches, wings, barbecue pork, meatballs, antipasto platters, Italian subs, salads and pastries. Call 239-263-6979 or email Kmurano@artichokeandcompany.com.

■ Old World Market will prepare platters of meat, cheese, phyllo bites, stuffed grape leaves and olives. The market is at 2800 Davis Blvd., East Naples. Information: 239-692-3020

Game day

The following restaurants are having Super Bowl specials:

■ Skillets is offering Super Bowl team breakfasts. San Francisco fans can enjoy sourdough pancakes with hot blueberry compote served with two eggs and two slices of bacon for $9.95, and Baltimore fans can get Maryland blue crabcake Benedict with Skillets potatoes and fresh fruit for $9.95. ■ Order online for pickup and receive $5 off an order of $40 or more or $15 off an order of $100 or more at California Pizza Kitchen at cpk.com. The restaurant is at Waterside Shops, 555 U.S. 41 N., Naples, for pickup. Information: 239-566-1900

Game time

Foxboro Sports Tavern is starting its party at 5 p.m. with its two-for-one happy hour until close at 4420 Thomasson Drive, East Naples, for $25 per person. This is limited to the number of seats to comfortably see the game, so make your reservations by calling 239-530-2337. You also have a chance to win one of two 51-inch Samsung flat-screen televisions, and there will be a 50/50 drawing at halftime.

La Piñata Mexican Restaurant, 3367 Bayshore Drive, East Naples, is featuring a happy hour from 3 to 11 p.m. with specials of buckets of imported beer for $15 or domestic beer for $10. Wings, nachos, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, clam strips, fried calamari and sliders are $5.99 each. Information: 239-774-4445

■ The Catch Restaurant & Bar at Port of the Islands Marina, 525 Newport Drive, is having a pregame appetizer buffet starting at 5 p.m. with nachos, chili, boneless chicken wings and hot dogs and a cash bar for $10.95. Lee Roy Selmon's 5056 Daniels Parkway, Fort Myers, is showing the big game with a super spread menu of unlimited food and drinks that include Hall of Fame ribs, pulled pork, sliders, Selmon Bros. wings, Buffalo-style wings, mama's baked beans, coleslaw and much more for $63 per person not including tax or gratuity.
