The summer movie season is in full swing, but catching the latest movie with your family can leave your wallet feeling lighter. The good news is there are plenty of cheap or free family-friendly movies showing this summer in Southwest Florida.

Regal Cinema is offering a Summer Movie Express with films that feature everything from trips to strange new lands to dancing penguins. The nine-week film program is at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tickets are $1 per person and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Will Rogers Institute.
