Collier Child Care Resources, Inc. announced that it has received $5,000 from Arthrex, Inc. to help provide partial tuition assistance for families with children who attend the NCEF Early Childhood Development Center located at Edison State College, Collier Campus. Arthrex is a member of the “CCCR Business 100,” a group of local businesses which supports the needs of economically disadvantaged children and families of Collier County by providing scholarships for the children of working parents who need assistance and supplies and equipment to support CCCR’s programs that serve children of teen moms who are determined to graduate from high school. Niccole Howard, Executive Director of CCCR said, “We are extremely grateful for this contribution from Arthrex. At our NCEF Early Childhood Education Center, there is a great need for tuition assistance for the working families who cannot afford the cost of child care. About 75 percent of these families receive some form of assistance from CCCR. Forty percent of these families live at or below poverty level. Our mission is to ensure that these at-risk children experience a quality early learning environment.” Information: www.collierchildcare.org. or call (239) 643-3908.
