5 things to do: Gulfshore Playhouse offering pay-what-you-can preview

1. Attend an art opening. Hannah Ineson was inspired by a Marjorie Stoneman Douglas book to capture the Everglades on canvas. 2. See a show for minimal dough. In the David Ives play “Venus in Fur,” an actress turns the tables on a playwright during an audition. It’s hot. It’s steamy. But not explicit. Watch the show during Gulfshore Playhouse’s pay-what-you-can preview at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the Norris Center, 755 Eighth Ave. S., Naples. 4. Rally to help kids. Join the Moose Riders of District 27 for a bike rally. No bike? No problem, there will be food for sale, raffles, games and live music.
