The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida brings history alive with displays of individual stories of Holocaust Survivors, Camp Liberators, and GI’s. Many are local Southwest Florida residents. With a collection of over 1,000 artifacts and unique photographs, the museum uses the history and lessons of the Holocaust to show why respect for others is so important today. Special exhibits and events are also presented. Docent-led and self-guided audio tours available during regular hours. Group tours and school tours are available by appointment. Open year-round, Tuesdays through Sundays. Closed major holidays. For more information, call 239-263-9200 or visit www.holocaustmuseumswfl.org.
