Italian restaurants and cuisine have long had first-class status around the world for good reason. The Italian approach to food and life has a beautiful simplicity that has produced extraordinary results over the years.

Since 2004, Bonita has had Molino’s, a creation of owner Kenny Purisico, a native of Trieste, Italy, who was involved with restaurants in New York before coming to Southwest Florida.

You’ve come this far, why not do it right? Start with an antipasta of meats and cheeses, then move on to a pasta dish. Molino’s has quite a few choices, including a lobster-filled ravioli topped with cognac cream sauce.

Your appetite suitably whetted, move on to the main course. How about veal scallopini topped with prosciutto over a bed of spinach? Or grilled tuna steak. And of course you’ll need some dessert or an espresso or sambuca to wash it all down. Now this is what it's all about...

For parties of up to 12 people, Molino’s has a classy wine room for private dining.
