The Neon Bar and Grill is the kind of place where a dish like sesame-encrusted ahi tuna coexists peacefully with a Chicago Italian beef sandwich.
Throw in rotating specials like Mom’s Meatloaf and an Ol’ Fashioned Fish Fry, and you’ve got yourself some comfort food with a Southwest Florida twist.
The dining room is simple but nice, with a wine cellar in the corner that is home to more than 20 different vintages. Mussels, oysters, clams and shrimp are offered on the appetizer menu. The daily specials are an economical way to go, all coming in at less than $10. The restaurant has a lively bar next door, but the door between the two shuts out the noise almost entirely.
