
The smell of barbecue sauce hovers in the air at Rib City Grill and each table comes stocked with four sauces to smother, dip or use in whatever way you see fit.
This Fort Myers-based chain does barbecue in the traditional sense of the word –- that is, cooked slowly over a wood fire. No ovens or charcoal here. Rib City does barbequed chicken, pork and beef, and, you guessed it, ribs. Three different kinds to be exact – baby-back ribs, rib tips, and St. Louis ribs. Side dishes like baked beans, cole slaw and corn on the cob are available as well.
Vegetarians might have a tough go of things here, but would you expect any less from a place called Rib city?
