Written on $15 and Under: Siam Thai Cafe:

This is the most authentic Thai food in town. It's not as fancy as other settings. I've bee to Thailand, have Thai friends, etc., and this is the real thing!

And yes, the Thai's enjoy their hot chili peppers. Here the heat doesn't mask the taste (if you don't get it too hot for your taste!)

The other Thai places have too much sugar in the food to cut the spice, and appeal to American tastes.
The Tom Ka Gai soup is a wonderful example of true Thai cookery, as I've had it in Thailand. Enjoy!

You can't beat the price for the generous portions!

This is said to be a favorite of the nearby Hospital folks for lunch and takeout. I tried two different types of chicken, and both were tasty and moist. Nice plantains and rice as sides. I njoyed the leftovers, too. I liked the sauces, so try a few different ones.

Also try their papas huancaina...the best appetizer. This is very good Peruvian cuisine, off the beaten path.

Passage to India is good in a pinch. And not what I recommend to those who really like Indian Food.

India Palace is well worth the drive, to savor and sample authentic Indian cuisine, tastes that my Indian friends say is the real thing!
